I'm going for either the 5k or 6k temp from ddm tuning for low beams and fogs. I just wanted to know the difference between 35w and 55w bulbs in terms of performance. I did a search and not much on that topic. Mostly about temp which has me leaning to my above mentioned choice, but any advice is welcomed and appreciated.

55w bulbs will be brighter, and generate more heat.
Both are technically illegal, the 55w moreso.

Would I have any trouble with melting housings? Are the 35w bulbs the safer bet?

Either way you won't melt the housing even with 100watt bulb it won't halogens top out for legal at 55watts so your good

35Ws are good for low beams. Heres some pics of my 35W 4500K HIDs.

Pics look great, really nice. Anyone got pics of the 55w bulbs?

I am going to revive this thread for another pre-order question. Do you need the dual-in dual-out harness that they offer? I assume they would send the kit with the harness to properly convert the electricity from the get go but is this not the case?

I am also searching for the color scheme-wattage listing if anyone happens to know that off hand please.

they send you everything you need unless you need the error illiminator or you want the fuse ( wrong word I just woke up and can't think of it ) to run constant 12v power

Groovy. I'm just wondering what the dual-in dual-out thing is. Really don't want to deal with grounding and all that junk...

are you buying a complete kit or just ballast?

The complete kit would probably be ideal. But what is entailed in the complete kit? That is what I am wondering about this dual in dual out. if it saves me from hhaving to splice and ground and all that jive than I will def pay a little extra for it.

it does save you the splice in and splice out it comes with it all
