idle air control sensor

so my iac sensor went bad and i replaced it and my car still idles like crap. it idles at 1500 and then while moving in neutral or with the clutch in it will jump up and down between 2500 and 1500....can anyone help me i just replaced it and it seems to be getting worse

Then the IACV didn't go bad..

Big vacuum leak is probable. Do a boost leak test.

Check the wiring behind it. That's what caused mine to do the exact same thing. I never messed with anything in my engine compartment to stretch or cause a break and it happened. I'd try there first.
