search for the same thing and you'll find better answers. I put up a post like this not too long ago. But unless you DIY, there isn't much out there. The one guy that did cool custom work scammed everyone.

He kinda fell of the face of the earth after people began to realize that he wasnt giving people the quality product that he was selling. like the tails that i have seen that he made look like a little kid made it. but yeah you pretty much have to do it yourself.

Its not that hard, but just takes time and some money. What you need to do is make fiberglass molds of the taillight lenses. Then once you have those made you need to make lexan lenses then, because from there you will cut off the colored lenses of the tail light, and then you have to glue or use silicon to put the clear lexan lenses on. and thats it

I would put some rubber mold on taillight beforE glass. Make it a little easier getting the lexan out.

Yea sadly they don't make euro tails or LED tails for the Alero like they do the Grand Am. The only one who did was the AnderbrA guy they were talking about. His website is still up, but I don't know if I would chance ordering from him. There is a long story as to why too. So pretty much anything you want done to the tail lights is a DIY project. You can make LED tails because I have seen them done before and you can tint them yourself, but I don't know about making your own set of euro tails for it. Either way I would get a second set of tails before I did anything. That way if you don't like how it turns out you can still go back to your stock set with no problems.

i like that, that looks nice, so do you just find the same color of the car and paint them? and what do you have to do to tint the tail lights?

Here's mine I painted over reverse also. So where turn is now plus reverse is turn signals. And trunk parking light is also wired up for brake light. Going to get 2 little round led pods to go onto the plate box area for reverse.

you really have to use the search button or google or something. but ya, just go to any auto parts store (autozone, pepboys etc.) and get the paint that matches your car. the paint code is on the spare tire cover in the trunk. to tint them get vht nightshades. also available at those stores or online. tint lights first with a few light coats of the vht, then tape off and paint them. wait to dry, lightly sand, then clear coat. pretty simple procedure.

sounds pretty simple

it is. only issue i had was when i clear coated them, the clear actually started dissolving the vht, and i got a couple little runs of blackish on the white part. just do light coats and it should be fine.

Prolly reason being different type of paint and clearor like a laquor paint and then a laquor clear the clear will disolve the base.

it's a really simple procedure...it's also really easy to mess up. just take your time with it. slow, thin, even coats. wet sanding between coats (400 grit or higher. I prefer a 1200 grit for this though). should take you roughly 15 minutes per coat on a hot sunny day (if done outdoors). (time includes spraying, letting it tack up, and wet sanding)

Yeah, I used VHT niteshades (sp?). I wet-sanded before hand and cleaned it off with alcohol, but i was dumb for not sanding between coats. Mine turned out well, but they look more matte black finish than glossy black, even with some clear-coat over it :(
I also did it on my gf's white g6. it looks like a storm-trooper from the back now haha. I'll see if I can snap a pic
