I need help with this it wont budge...I know it comes out but its a paine...
ANy info would help...

hehe... i just got one, and it's a biiiaat to take out..
I found it's because it's tilted one way inside, so it's pretty wedged.
Try sticking the screwdriver handle in, and jarring it loose. ie.. if it's wedged downward, jarr the screwdriver downward to wiggle it.
but other than that, i'm probably gonna get a piece of sturdy mettle that looks like a
straight rod with a small hook, so i can jiggle and pull at the same time.

try putting yout thumbs on the outer part of the silencer on the inside lip of the tip and pressing outwards and pulling. That workd for the carbon fiber muffler we had, but my friend has Apex'i exhaust and his is a PITA

where is the silencer? and why take it off does it help any performance wise? :smokin:

it's only on some aftermarket mufflers.

I got it to work.. I had some kid at my work yank it out and he cut his thumb doin it..LOL
But i am using some pliers and it works fine.....YAY
