Stock to Stock with AUX

Can it be done on an 06 Cobalt? My wife wants the aux feature but her's did not come with it. I figure since the stereo should encompass that feature in the unit itself it should just swap correct? I mean I am not asking to move to a monsoon head unit haha

so you want to swap a stock stereo with one for the cobalt that has that feature, and is also stock? Shouldn't be a problem. It's just an extra input in the unit, so there shouldn't be any extra wires coming out. lol

I figured there would be no problem except if the unit I find does not have RDS like her current stereo. Oh well AUX is worth the loss of RDS.

Well after I took out the stock stereo I noticed it only had one large clip, the new stock radio had two clips. Screwed. So I put back the original. I am not sure what happend but now the AC controls are not working. Please help!

Oh and if there is a harness to convert please let me know.

Okay I got the AC issue but any help on the harness that goes from the 2 on the unit to the 1 wire block from the car would be great help
