got Bord today and got some red bulbs, went to town and took apart the gauge cluster and removed the factory color filter (FYI) the factory color filter on the lettering is blue so all u need is white leds and you got blue guages)
any way heres some pix
time was about duskish

looks good. as long as you have a red car, or red theme going.

It's blue, but not a dark blue. :) I like them. I put in Blue LEDs in mine, although I'm having issues with them going in and out....

I might have to do this...my speedhuts are starting to work intermittently.
my car is dark blue but im going for a red lighting theme
ive done blue for the last 3 cars i had, time for a change.

So what exactly did you do to get the blue color off? I looked at mine and couldn't figure it out. lol.

Im redoing my bulbs tomorrow- I have two that keep going in and out... its the contacts that touch on the side. At least on mine it is. Ill wrap the ends with some other wire and then cram it in. :p
i took the thing completely apart the face too and used goo gone to get the sticky crap off, then used a knife to scrape the blue off,
its a bit of a pita but worth it.

So you had to take the needles off?? How hard was it to do that?
it wasnt hard at all they pop right off but mark where they are then you pull them off
i did but the gf decided to put them where ever and i had to take em off and redo them
