I found this site by accident and am wondering it anyone has tried to see if these work well with an alero. With the claims that they make it might be a worht while investment to put aleros' up a little.

My first impression is that its a phoney, but its not that expensive to just try it and see if it works, and if not, sell it on ebay.

Don't waste your money
This doesn't do what it claims, you'll just wind up choking you intake and robbingthe car of air

Do you know this by experience or is it based on knowledge you have learned about cars?

i call bs too.... but my stepdad installed one in his truck (cummins diesel) and he knows "for a fact" he gets better gas mileage.
so if anything it MIGHT, just might be worth the money.... but i wouldnt waste my time.
maybe someone who plans on hitting a dyno should get one and prove once and for all?

What does the spiraled intake air do when it hits the screen before the throttle body? Also.. how well do you think spiraled air travels inside of curved tubing? I only see this MAYBE working a little bit if there were only straight intake pipes and the screen before the mass airflow sensor was removed. Or maybe it is the purpose of those thing to rob the car of air making it run sorta lean thereby saving fuel.

this is a fake, the real one is called the Tornado and i have one in my alero, it does improve your gas mileage, and if you have a CAI, it makes it louder but did not know any hp gain. i got it free and out here in So Cali where the gas is over $2.00 it come in handy!!!
