razzi kit is going on my car this weekend, and it will require me to move my license plate. right now the plate is double side taped to the passenger side of the front bumper. im trying to think of a more interesting place, or different way of mounting it. i though about possibly cutting out part of the razzi kit, and almost sinking the plate back into the bumper, probly in the same spot it is now. either that, or somehow mount it to the edge of the hood or something. any suggestions or comments are welcomed.

I'm guessing you are required to have a front plate...

You could put it right in the middle.... I think that would look the best... Just drill a couple holes there and mount your plate.

forgot to mention, i dont really want to drill any holes, and obviously, i dont have the stock mounting black box of death. and kinda going for a different mounting option, everyones is mounted in the middle.

from pictures I've seen, there isn't really a place to put it on the bumper without ruining the look of the kit...

ya, thats kinda true. how i have it now, its actually kinda bent to contour the indent in the bumper, and hangs down just above the fog light, and actually cuts off the beam of light. im gonna try somehow securing it to the edge of the hood on the same side. i had one of those bras on the hood a while ago, and had the plate attached to that. never got shit from cops about how it was mounted, so i may see how that looks with the kit, and no bra. although id really like to not have it at all.

I suggest you put the black box of death back on and use it. It's not really going to matter where come up with to mount the plate, it's going to look off somehow. But at least with the factory mount, it will look like it's supposed to be there.

well, i tossed it long ago, so thats not gonna happen. ill see once i get the kit on, where it looks good.

i actually did think about doing something like that, but not sure if i want to put that much effort into it. hell, i might just keep the thing in the front windshield for now.

Or like in "The Transporter," get a system that will flip the plate over to another one. :D

That same system was used on the Crown Vic in Taxi too. The car would go from your everyday taxi with New York plates to your not so everyday taxi with New Jersey plates.
