so i attempted to install my razzi this afternoon, and lets just say i had a bit of an issue with the front bumper cover. it seems to be about an inch or so too short. the parts that sit inside the wheel wells are pretty much pushing up against the outside of the factory bumper. the holes up front line up just fine, and it sits flush everywhere else. anyone else installing it themself have a similar issue? looks like i may have to cut a bit of plastic off to get anything to fit. any help will be appreciated. thanks

did you try to take the bumper off of the car and mount the razzi onto the stock bumpers then mount it onto the car yet? im not too familiar with the razzi though, not sure if that would help you.

you cut the front of your razzi bumper to make it fit?! Dude if you can't do it take it to a shop.

Think some have actually cut the front bumper to get kit to fit correctly.

ya. i did. i cut parts that are not seen, and the only way the kit would fit over the stock bumper is if these parts were not there. and im not going to pay someone to do this for me. if i fuck it up, ill fix it.

Have you worked with body kits before...?

all bodykits require "fitting" or minor modding to bolt up right, take it to a shop if u dont kno wat ur doing

No but I know I wouldn't cut that expensive stuff on my own. I'd rather someone else do it right for me so if there are gaps I can blame them

so, i tried taking the front bumper cover of to see if i could get the kit to fit better. it did not. it was just as short when i had the bumper sitting on the ground as it was when it was on the car, so it was kinda a waste of time. also, if anyone else is planning on removing their front bumper, with it not having been removed before, all i can say is good luck. the 6 bolts holding the plastic guards underneath to the bumper were pretty much rusted to the metal clips that the screw into. trying to remove them pretty much cut out a circle in the bumper cover. and 4 of the 6 bolts holding the bumper cover to the fender were also rusted as bad. barely got them off, and not really sure how im going to get them back on. got the front pretty much molded on, and the rear is attached but not molded on. ill get some pics at some point.

i dont really feel like starting a new thread, but ive got quite a strange question for anyone who has a razzi kit. has anyone else noticed any difference in the running temperature of their car after putting the kit on? in the 2 weeks since ive had at least the front of the kit on, the needle on my temp gauge has ben sitting a little bit above the halfway mark. before that, even in summer heat and while sitting still, the needle would sit right on the line. the center opening is a bit smaller on the kit, but i dont feel like it should have any effect on the car. just an observation i had, and curious if anyone else has a similar experience.

ya, im not worried about it overheating or anything. i just think its weird that it would make any sort of difference with the kit. unless its just a big coincidence and something else is causing it.
