hey guys, question for you.
i have ddm tuning high and low hids installed. and love them. but i have one small problem.
scenario. it's night time, cruise set too 100km/h.
so i have my high beams on, and there is a car coming, so i have just lows on. but SOMETIMES when i got back to high, my cruise control kicks off. and if i hit set/resume they dont do anything. if i tap the brake pedal so the brakes just come on a little, then the cruise works again.
i used to have this problem when i signaled and such when the little black box by the intake broke off and wasn't grounded correctly, but since i have grounded that box back to the fender.
now heres is my thought. since hids take quite a bit of current when first turned on, i think it sucks the system down. so either not a good enough ground somewheres. or my battery sucks the big one.
stock ac delco battery. big 3 wiring is done. and hids are using stock harnesses
a possible fix? maybe setting up a relay to power the hids instead of the head light wires. maybe that'll help the system
