Simple as title:
Those with experience please help me out and hint me in on some of your personal best areas for tweeter placement in our cars NOT requiring speaker/tweeter pods being fabricated etc. I have the gx model of our car therefore the sail panels are clean. Though, to flush mount it doesn't seem like the pods would be too big and interfere with the clips. Thanks ahead peeps.

haha, if ur sails are clean use a circular "saw bit" that goes on a drill. its alot easier than tryin to fit em on a sail with stocks

Or hit up a junk yard and buy the peices if there cheap enough.

That was the plan, it just seems the mounting cups are a tad too big for my sails and if I drill, it would end up cutting through a good deal of the plastic pieces holding the clips...

Under seats?
Is someone smoking crack?
If its an off axis tweeter aim them right at each other from the sail panels. The A Pillars will work also, but it also raises the sound stage.
If they are on axis then aim them towards you.
Most tweeters will be off axis though.
Flush mount is lame. I took the stock tweeters out. Used a dremel tool with a sanding drum and fit my Rainbow surface mount cups. I ground away minimum material. I used some hot glue to get the desired position. Then a dab of CA glue. Then I pulled them off and souped them full of Epoxy. Then a light fillet of bondo. Minimum sanding- flat black paint.

I understand what on and off axis means, regardless there is an on and off axis switch on the crossover for the tweeters. Call it lack of motive but I do not see myself putting that much time into custom fabricating tweeter mounting areas... Though those do look nice Ryan, I like 'em.
Basically I am getting what I figured I would for suggestions. I'll pop off a sail panel and brush up my Microsoft Paint skills to give a better representation as to what exactly I am trying to say... The posts coming off of the back of the sail panels with the clips attached to the end of them, slightly get in the way. I would have to cut away some of post itseld in order to securely fasten the rear mounting cup...
