Ok....well yet again i have brake problems..making a weird sound if i gently push them in so i really gotta step on them to make it NOT make a sound. I've had some guys tell me that when you first get them put on you should brake HARD a couple times to "break them in".....then i read on some site that someone posted on here that you need to do 60% brake a couple times, let them cool, do it again....

HOW DO YOU GUYS BREAK YOUR BRAKES IN!?!?! cause when i upgrade the brakes to the dual piston calipers and bigger rotors i DONT wanna fuck them up.... wanna make sure i do it right so i wont have to fuckin change them AGAIN... I HATE BRAKES!!!!!!! lol. thanks for any help guys!

take it slow and easy for the first hundred miles or so. i know its tough cuz of a-holes stopping immediately in front of you, but try and keep a safe distance and avoid any sudden braking. this all might sound pretty redundant, but most likely will be the thing you need to do

OK first thing is to pump the pedal back up and make a few stops from slow speeds (like one from 5 one from 15 and so on) to make sure they are seated correctly (if you do it yourself, if you didn;'t do it yourself the person that did the brakes should have done this already

Usually I TRY to advoid hard braking for the first 200 to 500 miles but like jhubbz said, there are too many assholes on the road today.

I get 2 years 20,000 miles out of the front and 4 to 6 years out of the rear (i usually forget when I change them last, they are due now)
