Ok i'v been looking everywhere but im finding mixed answers. Is it bad for your car to leave your cold air intake in through the winter? because im finding yes its bad, no its not, so witch one is it?

depends on how bad it snows around you. safe bet, don't listen to anyone from anywhere south of the mason-dixon.

ok, my winters arent tooooo bad, i mean it gets around maybe -4 F

I've had mine in for a year now and went through a full winter. I had no problems with my engine at all. Unless you plan to offroad and go through snowbanks you should be fine. I keep it on all year round.

i'm normally parked outside, and "plowing snow" on my road, to get out to the main strip... which is normally plowed MUCH earlier then the road I live on.

Its very common for my foglights to be pushing snow or to have it up to the top of the bumper. In that case... I'd say sway to a WAI. If it doesn't get that high for you ever, then leave it, its fine.

Also keep in mind, 1" of rain = 1' of snow. Getting a little snow on your filter, will just get the filter moist... not seize your engine. You'd have to be vacuuming the snow into your manifold.
