Was in Nashville on business Tuesday afternoon through this afternoon and got a 4-dr / 4-cyl. bronze Alero, compliments of Hertz (I could tell it was a 4 and not a 6 because of how slow she felt relative to my GLS). An old friend of mine is the music director of WRLT, and fortunately I was able to hook up with him Tuesday & Wednesday evenings after work was done for the day.

In case any of you were out and about in town this week, too, here's where I was...

I went to Bluesboro on Tuesday with Keith and hung by the bar, wearing my grey Team RP shirt and the beautiful blonde Debbie by my side (hey, her boyfriend was out of town so she was able to come out and play). I haven't seen her in probably 10-12 years. Still hot. :smokin: The MuzikMafia show was awesome.

Wednesday I worked from 7:30am to 8pm and the moment I got in the car to drive back to the hotel it started pouring. Once the rain let up, my business partner and I went down to Broadway for some ribs and to give hm the tour of the town. I haven't been there in about 5 years but not much has changed (other than the NASCAR Cafe going out of business & Tootsie's now being a huge hangout). Keith was MC'ing the Los Lobos concert so I hopped a cab and headed over there in my gray Predators shirt. The rain delayed the show long enough that the first act was only still breaking down when I got there at 10. Keith got me into the VIP tent (which came in very handy when the skies opened up again) and a free beer. LL was great. Debbie didn't show but a few other friends of ours showed so it was all good.

Once the skies opened for the 2nd time we hung in the tent until most of the crowd had left and then high-tailed it over to Chu's. After a few drinks it was time to head out since Keith had to catch an 8:20am flight to CO for some industry show. I've only ever seen it rain this hard 1 other time in my life. We got a ride over to Keith's car parked outside Noshville and when we got out the water in the street was literally up to my knees. We almost oculd drive out of there as the belts were soaked and kept slipping and the car repeatedly stalled. I watched waves (like in the ocean) roll past the car. It took us so long to get me back to the hotel.

It was uneventful flying out today so no stories there.

Anyone else at the same places I was those nights?
