Rim Question

So i have a new alero project under way...somthing to really turn heads. Im doing the design right now and I need some help from the great alero gurus of the bourd.

I want to run a set of 17' mustang cobra rims with a 245/45ZR17 any forseable issue?

Go to tirerack.com. They will tell you exactly what rims you can safely run on your car and even match the exact tire to them. Makes things a lot easier and safer.

17 foot diameter wheels seem a little large for our cars... lol

Go to Aleromod Upgrades in my sig and to the wheel/tire section. There's a link to the Miata,.net tire size calculator that let's you see what sizes you can use that retain the overall stock diameter.

You want a 245/35/17, the biggest problem is going to be the rims. What is the width and offset of the cobra rims. I am going to say no though because off the top of my head I believe they are 17x9.
