Yeah with that said, I'm having a lot of problems with my rims.

They are losing air around the beeds due to rusting and bent up in some places. All but one rim is FUBAR'ed

Also my rims are no longer being made, so here's what I'm looking at.

I'm going to hold out as long as possible (springtime) and I'm sticking with 17 inch rims. I might have to get new tires over the wintertime, I got close to 5 years and 55,000 miles to these tires as of right now (tires will be 5 years old in January)

I'm down to three, I'm not really feeling the third one. IDK how I feel about flat black and the lip is also black (nicks and scraps just installing)

I'm looking at easy to clean and weight. My wheels are 17.8 lbs right now but a bitch to clean with the split spoke. Getting older now and looking to have an easier job getting it ready for shows instead of spending 20 minutes on each wheel

The first one and the 2nd are actually the same rim, just different colors

^^ Yeah that's what I was thinking.

I could get the lip done, but IDK if I want to spend $484 on rims, then more money on the lip :ninja:

Price is not the big sticking point either, the Focals are $121 a wheels and the Racelines are $120 a wheel. However the Focals are at Tirerack which I need to buy nothing. The Racelines are at Summit which I'll need to buy the lugs and rings, bumping the price up a bit $530 for 4 I think

very true. if the people at the tire shop know what they are doing the lip wont be touched. when we get delicate rims in at our shop we use the machine where there is nothing that touches the lip of the rim

There is one huge scrape on one of my Kazeras right now, but that was from the ex :rolleyes2:

It's only on the lip, she gashed one of her spokes

The last one maybe in a different color? Not a real fan of rims with a lip. Makes them look smaller, especially 17's...

I think you should save up and spend the money on forged rims instead of cast.

Gunmetal would look great on a red car, at least IMO

I kinda agree with Kyle, but out of those 3, I would choose #2. I've had black, and they look bad if everything isn't kept really clean... Especially when the wheel is blacker than the tire.

My vote would be for option 2. The black with the lip (option1) would make the tire look smaller and the flat black looks like you just tried to paint them yourself expecially after you get some miles with them and nicks and scratches start to show.
