Just for info, if you do the 02 corvette front caliper upgrade, the pistons and seals are discontinued. Not that you should let them get so bad that you need new pistons and seals.........oh well. Time for NAPA remanufactured calipers.:lol:

Holy expensive as hell! they would be nice, but dang. I can get two remans for $140 at napa with my cores. I dont think i would get enough noticeable pleasure from stainless pistons to make it worth that much. They may be corvette brakes, but the y aren't on a vette! lol.

Not to mention that aluminum really isn't that much more heat conductive than stainless. Plus, even if you have stainless pistons you still have all that iron/aluminum caliper to still conduct heat. Stainless caliper pistons are wasted money IMO unless you're a mountain drifter or something of that nature.

Well, all I was posting is that you can still get pistons. If I would've known they'd be of value I would've saved the ones from my low-mileage C6 calipers when I swapped the stainless ones in.
