I Got rid of my fog lights cause I hit a raccoon and broke the driver side And I couldn't fix it. Didn't care to buy new ones so I got led strips as fog lights now.

Hahaha not my Deere! But its got 4 wheel drive pretty tight!

now i really wish mine was running and i could get my HID's but oh well im going to do some of my neons before i get too much else done to my car. and till i can find another LD9

sleepyalero

Yeah hids are worth every penny.. so much better then stock bulbs.

I used to have red neon under my car then took em off. To many stupid people wanted to race when they saw em and I'm just like no. They bring to much attention.

Just a question. Not trying to flame or anything like that. But why are so many people on here obsessed with ddmtuning hids? What's the difference in those and the ones I can get off ebay for 30 and 40 dollars?

robalero
01-02-2011, 06:09 PM
lifetime warrenty

sleepyalero
01-02-2011, 06:16 PM
yeah and ebay isnt the most reliable i dont think. ddm is cheap and on the slim ballasts they are lifetime as rob said.

robalero
01-02-2011, 06:20 PM
on the reg ones their lifetime too

sleepyalero
01-02-2011, 06:35 PM

JoshGentry
01-02-2011, 06:37 PM
Ohhh. Definitely a plus. I got it now. Was just a little unsure. I always go with Ebay for mine. I've had blue, green, and pink and they all worked great. But I have heard of people getting some that burned out. Lifetime warranty is always a plus. Lol.

sleepyalero
01-02-2011, 06:41 PM
totally lol and they are only 59$ shipped

JoshGentry
01-02-2011, 06:51 PM
Is it a member on here that sells them or a website?

sleepyalero
01-02-2011, 07:49 PM

I went with DDMtuning because their slim raptor kits were so cheap, I put them on my old ATV..I now have them on my daily driver caprice lt1 wagon, and my wifes 97 maxima se 5spd...just a caution though...you may want to istall some casper shields if you can still take apart the lenses, OR...have a friend drive your car, and you be in another as oncoming traffic, at different speeds..my caprice stock lenses suck bad, and I had to give it those stupid vinyl home made eyelids to reduce glare..its been awhile since I have been on here, but you might be able to get away with dusting the bottom om the low beam flat area with some silver or black to reduce glare...I cant remember if we had issues with the Alero prism's of the headlight housing....besides Silentalero...has anyone else done budget hid projectors?
and to be honest dude, after ordering a couple kits...those look alot like 6k. not 8k....8k is really blue!
