View Full Version : LED light question
I appreciate any suggestions on finding or making this work.
I need 2 LED strips that light 1 light than another and then another until all are lit. Basically like a gauge. I want them for a turn signal application altho not for an Alero. Please help

Thank you but I am not sure any of those actually do what I mentioned. 1 led at a time but quick...kinda like the scanning light effect but only going from inside out

Note: I am not a LED expert or install on a regular basis....with that out of the way...In any event you are going to need a synchronous LED controller of some type...or corresponding circuitry. The links above can point you in the right direction. You can goggle synchronous LED controllers and pull up some info, and figure out what you want to do. There are some controllers out there that will let you switch colors with RF remotes...pretty cool! Good Luck!
Thank you Lonnie. Perfect. I wish that one company that sold the sequential LED light bar didn't use lenses to color the light. I need the LED to be red but I think I can talk to them.
Okay found it...thank you Lonnie for getting me in the right direction

Dave Chappelle FTW
Silky Johnston: "Honky" is a racial epithet used for white people. It was made popular by a man named George Jefferson in the 1970s. You see, he and his wife, Weezie, owned a dry-cleaning business, so they moved on up to the east side, to a deluxe apartment in the sky. They finally got a piece of the pie. Convoluted story I'll admit, but the point is this... that in the future, all black people will be FREE!
