Okay. So everybody with the Andy's Auto kit knows that those two little holes at the bottom of the front bumper are a pain in the ass. I just fixed one side of it yesterday. And then today the other side busted. I know how to come out at angles, but they still seem to constantly scrub when I come out of certain places that I can't avoid. Lol.
So anyways. I know there is a guy on there that has shaved those holes off. Has anyone else besides him done it? OR, has anyone ever filled those in? Pictures? I thought it would look pretty good!

Ion is in the process of filling IIRC
and you are on air ride! just raise it up so you don't scrape LOL

I do raise it! The entrances and exits around here are terrible! Still scrubs when I'm at 100psi. I'm thinking about getting triple bags. I hear they get about an 18 inch lift or so. I haven't researched it yet. But yeh, I saw how ion is doing his. I'm not sure if he's filling those bottom holes though. I think he is juct making the center bigger for his intercooler.

the center was the main portion of the work, but i'm pretty sure he mentioned filling too...

Cool cool. I gotta find that thread again. Or find someone to do me a Photoshop. Lol.
your going to ruin your struts if you inflate them to 100psi.

The struts or the bags? I believe my bags' maximum capacity is 120psi. But I may be wrong.
the strut, you will end up wearing out the inside of the strut and there will be play in your suspension.

I have! best way is grind out from behind tape up the front and lay layers of glass from behind then once done remove tape. Then ruff up area and lay filler and smooth it out.

I really never knew that, but appreciate the heads up man. I ride at 60psi and I just bump it up when I pull in and out of rough places.
Got any pictures pimpalero2003?

Same here, I have done two kits, on one though by the time I was glassing it wasn't two hole but two big gaps so I had to fab up the edges at the same time......

Can you emphasize on that a bit? I don't really get what you're saying? So you have pictures also?

Ok, so the first one you can see on one side how it is completely busted. This was due to being super low to the ground on the first gen shitty coilovers from Joel. By the time I fixed it, the other side was also busted meaning I had to fab up something to hold the shape to glass the right shape. In my case I used about 10 layers of tin foil, and then just sprayed some pam on the inside sheet to keep the glass from sticking.
The second two pictures show the finished product (which I finished at like 10 at night and that aleromod member that I sold it too had to get back on the road to Salt Lake City, UT for work the next day!
The fourth picture is just a finished product picture of another aleromod member's kit that I filled the holes in on, before he even painted it because of the problems he had seen that I had.

That looks much better than the holes anyway.

Ahhh, okay. Thanks kwhauck. I'll get started on doing mine tonight. I figured it would look good but I just wanted to see some pictures before I started on it. This body kit stuff is killing me. I'm about to get rid of it and go back stock. Lol.

Don't bother modding your car if you're going to go back to stock, that's lame.

May be lame, but the front bumper that is on my car is the forth one I have bought. That's too much money to keep putting into something that I have busted everytime.

Have you been offroading or something?? Some people run bodykits all winter up here and keep them in relatively good shape.. down south it seems like it'd be simple

The front bottom of my kit has never broken, and I'm in Michigan.

that because your intercooler gets all the pounding :p

I doubt his intercooler sits lower than his kit. Anywho. Businesses around here are tight with their money so I guess they don't care about fixing their entrances and exits. My bank and the university I go to have some of the worst entrances. And it's kinda hard to avoid them two. I'm constantly scrubbing. Even coming out at ridiculous angles, I still scrub. Lol.

My biggest problem was the shitty first gen coilovers from joel, bouncy piece of shits...
