so long story short one of my co-workers wanted to see how my sunroof operated compared to his (not quite sure why) anyways i went to shut mine and it completely slides shut but will not go all the way down, it sticks up about an inch. looked in the track and didn't see anything obvious so help is needed since its only about 19 degrees outside haha.

That's weird.
Maybe one of the bolts on the glass is loose. I forget the actual size of the bolts, but I want to say T-15.
Replaced my glass this summer, took all of 5 minutes

Mine does that too. I usually hit the motor with the palm of my hand and it works after that.
I had a similur issue. I took apart the switch. Turns out the contact were corroded. Emery cloth fixed that. Worth a shot though

had a tech look at it today, and on our service program there was a TSB for a bad "soft stop open/close" sensor. what happened was the sensor was bad so when the sunroof opened all the way it didnt know when to stop so the motor jumped a tooth and thats why it wont close all the way. our service program says if you jump pin 1 to pin 8 it will over ride the sensor and it will shut all the way. and while im at it the headliner is getting re wrapped tonight. pics to come after.

well sunroof is fixed and while the headliner was down i re wrapped it with some headliner material i picked up from the local fabric store. first time ever doing something this large but it was really simple. took about an hour to complete and it totally changed the look of the interior. didn't have enough for the sunroof and visors but i kinda like the look of the two tone so i don't know if i will wrap the other stuff or not. opinions?

I think it looks good two tone like that. I would leave it.

well my thinking for leaving it tan is because the only other thing in my car that will be tan after a few other things are painted black will be the lower part of my door panels and im not gonna even try to mess with those so i figured i would leave it so the door panels will have something to match to. wish i could get some higher res pics so you can see how good it really looks.
