New to the site.

I have a 2001 Alero GL2 sedan in Bronzemist. It has plenty of dings and scratches from being in Chicago for 2 years, but everything works just as good as new. I have uploaded photos of the car and most of the small imperfections to Photobucket.

I am the original owner, just new to the site. I'm starting to work on modifying her in the near future.

That's in good shape actually, most if not all of those scratches will buff out.

Yeah, I need to buy a buffer. My hood has some nasty rock chips and there are some deep scratches down to the metal on the drivers quarter panel, the deck lid and the roof by the drivers door. Other than that, I'm having the rest of the cars dents PDR'd soon. I found a guy who will do the whole car for only $175.

What's really amazing is that this car has lived in Northwest Indiana with the road salt and no garage for nearly all of her life. She spent the past 2 years rotting in Chicago and that's where she picked up all the damage from idiots who don't know how to drive or park! I finally got her back from my brother last October when I saw how he had been treating her while she was on loan to him through graduation...I nearly died when I saw her. When I let him borrow her for school she still looked brand new. She only had one small stain on the carpet and the body was perfect. I've got a long way to go to get her back to her former glory, but I sold off my Mazda 3 that I'd been driving while she was on loan so that I could use the payment cash for repairs and mods.

We all meet up at a hotel the day before the big oldsmobile show. We have our own little show and hang out....bullshit....its fun! You definitely need to go and see some of the aleros on the sit in person....then when we all drive to the oldsmobile show together its fun cause we stop and take a pic, then go to the show....redog sounds off the train horn (i hope to join you soon on that! ;) ) and we all roll in together. Then you go and check the other oldsmobiles from the past. GREAT TIME. Im hoping to go this year! :)
