tail lights

My alero is red.......what should i do with the tails clear, altezza, or cover what i want and paint them red?

clears/altezzas = too much $ for how they look (not that great)
paint mask: either color-match red, or black
-OR- tinted tails. some may say VHT nightshades, some may say a mixture of black and clear coat.

^ not a mix, bdyman just went over this, you do thin layers with clear over it, he describes it in more detail in the thread about his new trailblazer ss
