I have a 300 buck certificate to Best Buy, and I wanted to get a head unit to start my wonderful process of system building. I was looking through the decks and I found this

The site says it won't fit, but do you think if I got them to work on it they could get it in there? I really like this deck. My friend has one in his Prelude and it's sexy. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

It'll fit, just have to trim out the plastic junk behind the deck.

I have the 8600mp and I love it. If you have the extra cash you should definitely step up to that unit. But then again I guess you're always left wanting more because I just realized that I wish I had bought the 9600. Just a thought for you. It'll all fit fine though, just cut out the black plastic behind the hu.

Oh yeah. I wish I had stock in dremel. Never expect to put a stereo in without one. If you want your radio flush mounted and the black finish ring to go around the radio your dash will have to be notched as well. The opening is exactly the width of your radio.

hmm. my pioneer 8500 (same as 9600 except only one color screen) fitted with no modification.
wasnt easy, just had to make sure no wires were in the way or anything.
