car wont start

04 3400. I drove to the gastation. Shut if off got gas went to start it and nothing! I have a new battery and replaced started rcently. I turn the key all dash lights come on raido works. Starter won't even engage. Can anyone help?

Tryed that. Still nothing. I want to figure somthing out. Rite now its at the shop. Guy wonnt get to it till Monday and he charges 75 an hour. Id like to get it running b4 he gets to it. I hate paying someone $$$ to do somthing I can do. U know anything about netural safty switch?

Sounds like a bad starter if the connections are good, and the battery is good.

you turn the key and it does nothing? Not even click? If so, you have a bad starter or a starter connection.

because that's all it really reasonably could be

since you replaced it recently, go swap it out for free (i assume there's a warranty) and see what happens.

completely different vehicle, but the exact same thing happened to a 94 gmc jimmy i had. spent 6 hrs replacing the starter, and checking everything, and it still didnt start. never could figure out the problem. the truck would start with the remote start in it tho. good luck.

Did the security light come on?

The starter is PCM controlled on a '04 3400, so there's a relay in the mix too.
