2001 V6 4doors 135000k when i bought it last year June 2010 for $2300 it is now at 146000 & still kicking although i will have to do the LIM later on this summer it started to leak well... not really a leak yet but you can see that it would need a LIM job soon...
Anyhow here some pics of when i bought it & later on with my windows tinted & Chrome pipes all pictures dated from last summer
Original Radio AM/FM & CD/Cassette player all in one lol!
The CD can't play MP3's so i bought a Cassette adapter to play my MP3's works good...:)

Yeah! sure in the US everything is cheaper (price tag) wonder why your economy is going down...?:rolleyes2:
Around here it would be hard to find a rusty car under $1000 :(
The car seller was asking $2900 for it so i deal it down because the car was pulling to the left...
After the buy i went for an alignment it was almost perfect , turns out that it was only the tires that was to worn
Now run perfect with 4 brand new tires :)

In Canada, the Alero still holds its 'value'. You can't get a decent one for under $1000. His was actually a good deal, considering the mileage. A good deal for Canadian standards.
Where in Canada are you ?

That's because you know how to find a good deal haha.
On the other hand, I work with a lot of used car dealers in Toronto, and some of the Aleros I've seen are wayyy overpriced. You won't find a good deal in the city unless you buy private, from a farm outside the city.
Just a few examples of how they are overpriced... :(

How much did you have to patch up for it to pass inspection... or do you know someone?
