I have been coming on here EVERYDAY since ive Registered, and made several posts asking about a turbo on my car. And I haven`t got any answers what so ever.

I am so frustrated, feeling like this is such a waste of time.. Wondering if someone finally replied to a thread.

to my knowledge not many of the ppl on here have a turbo in there car. and if its the 2.4L like i read in one of your other posts, its not hard. its one of the easiest cars to put a forced induction in. try to private message Ion. He is your man, he has a 2.4 and i beleive its turbo'd but coming on these forums and ranting and raving about someone not answering your questions isnt going to help any. We have tried to steer you in the right direction, the rest is up to you. i dont believe there is a "How to" with a list of steps.

quick hint, the Cavalier Z24 is the same engine as a 2.4 in the aleros...if your looking for a turbo, try lookin in the cavalier part you will get more results.

Beside i found this site quite fast on answering post/thread when i made a thread i didn't expected an answer for a few days or a full week , i got a reply within 6hrs :eek:

Anyhow it all depends on the question ask & who may have the answer for you...

If it is something urgent then do research on line go see some garage mechanic & ask questions or use phone , see junk yard , performance shop etc..

If no rush & for future project then make a thread & wait patiently ;)

IMO Turbo/Super charge are a big waist of money expensive to buy & installed them it needs to be rebuilt every 2-3 years (if not sooner) & you most probably need to redo some engine parts because of it etc..

Cheaper & better solution is a kit of NOS imo

Although it is old I was also new to turbocharging at the time, it will give you a basis of what needs to be done. You're too ill-equipped mentally to take on a job like this, so I'd suggest you start with a supercharger kit if you can get your hands on one. They tend to sell for decent prices used on www.j-body.org (http://www.j-body.org)'s classifieds.

By the way, www.j-body.org has endless amounts of information regarding Boost on this engine. Go ask a question on there, there's a lot more active LD9 supercharged/turbocharged engine guys.

This post is FILLED with info alone and its meant to flame you. Interesting how this site is useless when even flame filled posts are informative. Sometimes you get an answer sometimes you don't. Good for you, But UNFORTUNATELY, NOT what I am asking. I know what a turbo is, but I only know much about the 300 Hemis and Shelby GT500`s. Not a 2.4L Alero.. I wanted to know how much boost it could run on stock internals, and if the kit I showed ( Turbo,exhaust,intercooler,intake,K&N filter, ETC ) is a good deal.

I am puting $20,000 down on a 2013 Shelby. with the new 5.8L 640hp engine.

Not bragging, but ^ that upthere is proof I am not used to dealing with four cylinder engine.. I wouldnt want to blow the pistons threw my hood..

And I found full exhaust (SLP Loudmouth 1/s for $600), I dont know the quality difference, but im liking the price....
They Said Predator tune was $599.. I think thats an okay price, but I never looked into it.

I just bought the car a couple months ago from a 23 year old chick.
Im pretty sure I already made myself clear, and that they are coming off when I re-paint and clear cat the bumper. Ill be leaving it plain, or putting the Alero sign on and Mesh grill in the 3 slots.

lol ;) Im a grandpa I guess... I put the intake and that on myself, but the stroker kit is out of my knowledge unfortunately.
Up near the window, Closer to the edge of the hood, if you angled them nicely, and cut a hole under the vent, I wonder what they would look like..
It would help cool the engine as well..
But I wouldnt do it until I knew what it would look like.

Going this summer to test drive the 2012 300cSRT8, might trade my C in on it.
8.L/100km !! ?? Is that not really good for a 6.4L 470hp/torque engine, Sounds like it gets better fuel economy than my 2.4L alero.. Now thats impressive !

Chargers are amazing :) look at the fuel mileage ^ in the previous post.. Its the same engine as the 300.

But I knew I could change all that ;)
It was a good deal... She left me two 10" subs, in a sub box the size of my trunk.. with 4 gauge wiring ect. Never Smoked it, and its just like new.
But 240,XXXkm, Engine and that looks brand new... Bought it for $1200.
E-tested it, and only needed a tie-rod for certification :D

New 8-Speed tranny with Paddle shifter, But it has not one piece of plastic in it..
Leather dash, steering wheel.. Arm rests, center console.... And had Carbon Fiber Center console with the leather. Racing pedals. Chrome and black I think. ADS (Special Automatic Suspension tuning, adjust with how you drive,) or you change it manually.. Had a 8.5" LCD Touch screen in the center... Timeslip = 1/4 time, 1/8 mile. 0-60. 60-0. Ltg etc...3" exhaust with 4" Tips... and I really like the rear of the car..
Push-button start. Automatic High beams (Off when a car come).. Windsheild wipers. Lights angle around corners, down/up hills. Blind spot censoring. tilting mirrors.. and the 20" SRT rims...
Largest Brakes on the market.. The list goes on but those are the top reasons why I choose it over the Challenger and Charger..
Im older, so its more of a luxery car when I want it to be, and a sports car..

I have a 300 hemi. Stroking it to a 6.7L 410 beast :cool: and it will be dynoing hopefully atleast close to 600hp. Then I will be looking at not one but TWIN superchargers.
I am puting $20,000 down on a 2013 Shelby. with the new 5.8L 640hp engine.

Not bragging, but ^ that upthere is proof I am not used to dealing with four cylinder engine.. I wouldnt want to blow the pistons threw my hood..

My current 300 has 2 6X9 Woofers, 1 10" woofer, 2 6X9`s in the rear deck, and three 3.5" in the dash.. 8 speakers, but its Boston Acoustic (Stock)..
