Couldn't find a write up but would like to know how to polish and paint my engine cover. Was thinking just degreaser, wire wheel, then engine enamel. or is there a better way to do this?

The upper intake manifold?...

On mine I used an air tool with an SOS pad on it to shave away all the bumps then painted it anodized blue most people use quite a few different grits of sandpaper as well

I'm not sure how much it's going to cost to do up the IDI cover, but I had my upper done for $65 and that was 2 different colors

See here: This is my actual intake, which this pic is on the powder coating company's web site in the photo gallery under "Automotive Powder Coating"

If you want to go thru them, let me know. They are super busy right now so turn around time is a little slow. You don't need the cover to drive the car anyway ;)

Oh? What's going to hold your coilpacks in place in the plastic housing and on the springs? Or hold your ignition module?

I can drive without it since I converted to wires, but a factory ignition LD9 can't..
