Hello everyone. I am looking at quieting down my car a bit, and was considering replacing my weatherstripping. What I would like to know is what are options on brands, or which are better and where I can get them. I am assuming the stealership ones are out of my league because last time my dad checked for the delta 88, they were over $300.

you could try ebay or a junk yard.

Looks like I had better start saving up lol But yeah, I would think used would equal to what I have hot right now, so if I do get, I will probably go new.

Do you know if that weatherstripping is good? If it is, it sounds like a much better alternative.

I think it needs to be changed because I hear wind through the sides. After installing the new windshield, wind sound ceased in the front, but now I hear it in the sides, so I think that will help quiet it a bit.

I am actually not sure, but the wind sound does seem to be coming from my sides.
On a side note, I just called Autozone, and they do have weatherstripping. 7/8" x 3/4" x 8' for 20$. The price seems great, but I don't know about quality. Has anyone here ever had any experience with this weatherstripping?

I have no experience, I just remembered seeing it, and almost bought it myself. Mine is pounded flat on both sides and there is a definite gap on the passenger side, when there's is strong wind, that you can hear wind through.
...pretty annoying...

Pretty annoying indeed. I think I will try the autozone stripping this weekend. I will post the results after it is installed. Thanks for the feedback.
