broken rack and pinion

alright so about 3 or so months ago my rack and pinion mounts broke so i bought a new one. i just thught the previous owner beat the fuck out of it.
well, it's broken again! 3 fucking months use out of a 130 dollar rack and pinion!
anyone know wtf is up?

don't have any pictures, i'll try to get some.
but on the passenger side where it mounts to the subframe. the casing on the rack cracked and broke leaving in to flop around. same exact thing happened 3 months ago.
