well, with addiction of a new sub and it did every now and then with old one, at high volumes the whole trunk rattles (of course) but it also makes a really loud squeaking sound, it seems to go away when I even just put my hand on the trunk and apply a little bit of pressure, but thats not really a very good fix.. I HATE IT!!!! what is it and how do I go about fixing?

Step 1: tighten every bolt in your trunk. this includes under the carpet.

Step 2: http://www.edesignaudio.com/index.php?cPath=1_24 (I believe we get a discount from this site? http://www.aleromod.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26170&highlight=edead)

Step 3: Enjoy loud music

i know the trip panel on the truck lid where "alero" is mounted rattled on both of my cars. i could put my hand on it and it would stop.

That stuff from Seconskin looks like it would help quiet the tire and road noise. Has anyone used this stuff behind their inner fenders to quiet the road and suspension noise in their Alero?
