Oil Change Light Is On , Just Did Oil Change 700km Ago.

recenetly my oil change light has come on , and I just did a oil change with royal purple like 3 weeks ago.. any ideas whats going on ?

Check your oil and reset your light. Mine does that once in a while. I wouldn't panic but I would keep an eye on the level and pressure if you have a gauge.

don't worry about it. You just have to remember the mileage when u changed the oil and when 3000 miles-5000 miles is up then change it again.

did you reset the light when you did the oil change? if not then that is probably why the light is on now. the button is located in the the drivers side of the dash in the door jam.

yep theres a red reset button in the drivers side fuse box to reset the oil light and low tire pressure light.

I run Mobil 1 and I can't remember when I reset my oil remind light. Has to be at least a year, no lie. But I figure that I only put 7,000 mile on my car last year

I never reset the light with an oil change, I change my oil every 3 months or 3000 miles
