6x9's in the back

So u know how the stock 6x9 speakers are 2 way? Well i saw a 6x9 that was just a subwoofer.. What would be the pros and cons of gettin this

If they are subwoofers and not woofers a pro would be you save trunk space and a con would be oval is not the best shape for sound. Also, a con would be lack of high range sound

Bacicly what he said^ if they can pack a punch good enough not to have an accutual sub and you don't mind only having your front speakers for the full range then I would say go for it.

They wont fit without modifications.

i would pass and get some good basic 6x9s. My alero came with some ebay/china/flea market kenwoods (they are not on the kenwood site) 6x9s with just the low connected. It's been about a year and i can't kill em, the monsoon amp + my aftermarket radio is really pushing them. But they give very good bass for being a factory car. I wonder what my 6x9 infinity reference will do when the kenwoods give up.
