Yea its built. I was thinking you were building a 3500 and dropping it in. I am dying to see how I would do against a built 3500

Not really gonna build up the engine too much. just getting the upper and lower intake mani's port&polished, bigger tb, headers, exhaust. 200+ hp is enough for me. Canada is a little far a drive too...lol

K....im searching for possible sites to buy an engine from but i dont wanna just buy from ANY site....found this one.
http://www.psengines.com
then i did a little search and found a 3800 supercharged on there....no 3500 but im sure i could request one. There is a 97-05 buick built 3800 supercharged....its very tempting....but first i should talk to guild about how much goes into that swap.....both swaps i would need to do A LOT of work right? like swapping computers and stuff....$2,179 for the 3800:cry:
for the 3500 its pretty much a bolt in engine, all you need is the 65 mm TB and the adaptor, you also need the crank position sensor relocation kit avaiable from WOT

The 3500 uses a different MAP sensor...i think you'll need a pig tail to get it work.... PM 3500Alero he actually had this swap

Okay ,sorry for being a total moron when it comes to the aleros v6 power plants since i my self got a 2.4l twin cam, don’t really know much more like nothing about those two engines. What exactly would be the benefit of doing this engine swap. Pleas enlighten me with the knowledge I seem to lack.

Better compression, better flow, better crank, and more HP. The G6 motor is essentially the same motor but it was a little redesigned internally with the crank, cylinder heads, and intakes. Plus stock it is a 200HP motor. The cool thing is everything bolts up the same minus a few sensors that have to be changed over.

K. Just talked to mike about the kit....def ordering that soon. He told me that i shouldn't switch over to the fel pro gaskets cause GM used a diff gasket on the 3500s and their actually better. So looks like this is gonna be an easy weekend job. Also ordering a new tranny mount cuase the stock one is DONE. lol. Can't wait to get this done. If the parts that i need dont take too long to get to me then this should be done not this upcoming weekend but the next. PUMPED!
