I'm looking for a header but aint sure which one is the best for the money. i know rsm racing has one but i really dont like the way it looks. does anyone know if the 4 2 1 header from rksport really works? it says it only works for the j bodys but just want to know if thats true or not. would it be worth the money?

bdyman has the rksport header on his ecotec. PM him or get him to post here for information on it.

Found a thread: here (http://invision.aleromod.com/index.php?showtopic=288)

Tells you where to find headers. Here's the mantapart link: mantapart.com/ecotec.html (http://www.mantapart.com/ecotec.html)

the 4 2 1 header from rksport would be nice but its 450. Weapon-r has one for the ecotec for 280 and it looks great. is the weaponr one any good? i've never heard anyone talk about it.

not sure about the weapon-r, but pacesetter has a 2.2 header now too. the collector is only 2.25, but it's also only 180 bucks.

would there be any difference in the pacesetter and any other one like rksports 421 or weapon-r? would the pacesetter give out as much power and sound as the other two?

The Pacesetter header is painted not ceramic caoted and will have the tendency to crack over time. My buddy has a for f***us and he went with painted instead of ceramic coated to save a buck, and he ended up paying more be casue he had to buy a new one. I would say to go with the RKSport one becasue it is ceramic coated. I have not heard anything about them but at least they will last.

Sorry guys, project has been delayed due to lack of interest :( If we can get more interest I can have one (or many) cranked out by next week, but it just didnt seem enough people were interested, and withthe onset of winter within a month, improving the perf. on my car seemed ridiculous, though like I said, I would be willing to re-open the project if any of you are genuinely interested. If I get a few people interested, I will price things out, and find out what it would cost for ya.

Well Alero SS I'd be SERIOUSLY interested come this spring when I get my tax cheq back. So long as like you said it is resonably priced and works good.

Especially considering how close to me you live and it would be in canadian funds and not have to deal with sending it accross the border

Well guys, I can have the project up and running again likely within a week or so's notice, so once I hear some more interest come spring expect some real nice savings on a custom header if your interested. Cheers
