I bought AleroRed04's Carbon Fiber cowl hood a few months ago. My orginal hood was rusting out and even had a hole in it. That hood is now in hood heaven.
The color doesn't quite match, and I need a few other things painted anyway, so in the spring, before ASS, I'm plaining on doing that.
Anyway, here are some pics. One of these I put up for AOTM

Very very nice! Most of the time I'm not a fan of cowls on alero's but that looks good. Also nice rims, and grill mesh, and clean car, and... So on.
it looks really good espicially with the black on the vertical part, nice and clean, it goes well with the black rims.

100% agree. The red calipers with the black brackets also looks awesome. Just the right touches to make everything pop. From the pics it doesnt like the red is off fromthe rest of your car either...

Thanks everybody!! :D
The black on the hood is carbon fiber. It's the orginal carbon fiber that's on the hood. IDK if I'm keeping it that way, or making it all red in the future. Still on the fence.
Guys at work like it too. Again a lot of guys like or don't like the carbon fiber being exposed. Nobody hates it
You can notice the color difference in person in bright sunlight. It's very slight

Your car makes me want to go get some stock red bumpers and switch back for a bit. I usually don't like the stock front 3/4 view but it looks awesome with your car.

Must be the right amount of drop with the right size rims that plays off each other to make it work just right. Lookin good.

Agreed, it's just simply looks sexy. Oh, and I defiantly vote keep the carbon fiber and the side of the cowl.

I think that the carbon fiber strip seems to give a little bit more depth to the sides

Car is looking great! Only thing I have to comment about that doesn't seem to flow well is the mesh grille in the front.

Chris your car would definitely look great if it had the stock bumpers and skirts, nothing against the kit... I just like the look of the stock bumpers and no spoiler on the trunk.

I think you should keep the carbon fiber... it flows well with the theme of the car, plus keeps the hood true to its roots of being one of the few carbon fiber hoods made for our cars... When I can get mine painted I am doing the same... for these reasons as well... glad to see it went to a good home as well!

Love the look the way it is though! I love that hood!

I think your onto something...
And how he was saying about the grill mesh not quite flowing, I think that would look sweet in black. But I still like it how it is.

what size rims do you have there? I really need to get mine lowered.
It just looks damn good. Inspiring even. The camaro rotors look really nice too. Too bad I have drums on the back of mine.

Ya the brake upgrade does look better, I'm kind of suprized by that... Xander- do the drum-disk convertion on the rear, I highly recamend.

also, would be neat if you could get a hold of someone's headlights where they painted the bezel black. It looks really good the way it is though. :)

Wishful thinking but doubtful it will become a reality. Tools, know-how, money and time. Just only got the damn headers attached properly lol

Yeah they are 17's Raceline 126 B (B is for black) They look smaller than my old 17's though. Maybe it's the poilished lip, but I have more sidewall with these than the others IDK
Not too crazy about the painted bezels. I tried red once, and I tried white. Think black is too dark

Ken the car looks great!!
And yes it is the polished lip, because the bullitt 17s I had on the aegean alero always looks super small too.
Now just get rid of the grill mesh and get some oil coolers, tranny coolers, and other cool shit to fill those holes instead!!!

That's really depressing. However I'm certainly enjoying the parts I got from you.
Personally I really think a bit of black on the headlight bezel and he mesh black would look awesome. Maybe a bit of tint on the tails but it's still looking sexy how it is. I'm guessing those of you with th cf hoods custom made them?... A new hood is very high on my list so iv been shopping around.
Xander- the conversion is very simple and you should be able to get everything you need from a junk yard for $100-$200 range. Pm me if you want details. And I can send links and pics if your interested.

well looks like im gonna be looking for some grill mesh, really like how that hood goes with the car....next upgrades shortly for me is clearly what yours is ( minus the hood as I can't find one ) so grill mesh and clear corners...didn't think the clear corners would look so good

Sorry I didn't get pics up sooner

Mmmhhhhhh I think I may have gotten a flat or two taking these pics. I came out to go to work and I had a flat tire and the other one is lower on the PSI. Not too low, but lower than I keep the tires at (28 v 35)
It's a paved road, with rocks in the parking on both sides. I have a second theroy, but I'm 99% sure it happened there.
If I have the energy when I get home from work, (I'll be awake for 26.5 hours straight at that point) I'll put the doughnut on. Not exactly the way I wanted to find out if the Impala 16 inch spare fits over the brake upgrade

Typically I hate the cowls on alerOs. Most of the time when I see the pics of them I'm just like "nnnaaaaasssttttttyyyyyyy" idk what it is but yours just looks awesome... Maybe they've just grown on my over time... Either way I'm still most of a fan of hood scoops on our car.

if it is just a random hood on the car it does stick out and is weird... mine was like that for a while, then I added the wheels, engine mods etc, and now it fits the package... will even more once it is painted to match the car...
Redog's is a perfect blend of looks and overall package of how tasteful our cars can be... Oldsman has most of the OSV replicated in his car and Ion(c2) has done a great job with his car and others along the way have done their thing to make their cars stand out as well... a lot are no longer here, but are still in the galleries... but as stated, to each their own...

I think spoiler less would look much better. I pulled mine off a couple weeks ago. I used to love the stock spoiler, but now can't stand it (on a coupe anyways). Wish I could find a stock red trunk lid without the holes. Mine is plugged and turned out okay for a temp.

Recently I just installed one of the new race seats I purchased and the other one will wait until I get the clutch in (which is real soon after the next round of tests for school) I'm currently taking the dash out to access all of the wires I need as well as the clutch pedal mounting locations,
