I was just looking at pics again trying to figure out what else I could I do, hopfully soon I'll be putting on the showoff3 style body kit and the vfiber hood someday. how would that look with taking off the spoiler and putting on just a small lip along the trunk? nothing to big, just 1 or 2 inches to flare it a bit, kinda like it on the new camaros. any input? just an idea...
somthing a bit like this

That's what I was thinking, how would I go about it though?... That's where I'm stuck.

get some sort of flexible molding that is in the shape/angle you want, cut to width of trunk, paint it, 3M double sided automotive molding tape..

Hmm, ya. Flexible molding?...

That's what I was starting to think. I plan in keeping the car white but when I get the new hood it'll be painted black and I was going to get a black trunk to go along with it. When I get that I'll probably find a style I like and pull it off another car. With my current trunk I'd have to worry about the spoiler holes... And for now it's still plenty sexy enough. Just been one if those long night thinking what else I could do. When I get it done (hopefully semi soon) I'll be sure and get pics up.

I've been thinking about this for a long time to match my hood and I have a couple donor car ideas, just haven't been able to go anywhere to measure and confirm......

I roughly know it will look stupid, it is not big enough nor does it have the right shape....

somthing very similar to the cobra there is exactly like what I was thinking. but maybe start it far enough up the trunk that it will go on where the stock spoiler did. I think we maybe be on to something here...

I'd rather have an osv spoiler...
Papa Rad17
09-27-2011, 11:55 PM
I just looked up pics of it, it defiantly looks good. What thinking is some sort if cross between the 2. Not as long as the osv but not at bulky at the cobra one upthere.

It has been produced but needs a lot of work from what I've heard and is super high priced....

This is a little ways down on my list right now, I have more Lessing issues right now, just am idea that came that came to mind so I went ahead and posted. When I get more serious about getting something done with it I'll get ahold of you.

Yeah, I've always been looking for a lip spoiler like the osv one. I figure if I can mold some foam core insulation or something like that and glass it, it might turn out not so bad.

This would be a good mixture between the earlier cobra spoilers and the OSV spoiler....

^that is exsactly what iv been thinking, not to bulky, doesn't go onto the back, but adds a nice flare. BODYMAN!!?!?!??!?!?!? I would defiantly be willig to pay for something like this to. It'd defiantly be rare and a very sweet touch. Would anyone else want it to have to be bolts where the stock one does? I don't want to have to get a new trunk just to put this on, maybe sweep it fonward bit if needed to reach the front bolt? Like the grandam spoilers, that would also add kind of a nice touch to it i think.
