Hey guys. My name is Michael Ewer(pronounced you-er.) I've been searching for some time now for a place that loves Alero's just as much as I do. I see I found it. Hopefully I can get some tips on mods I've been looking to do but no one I know seems to mess with this model. Its a shame too, because its cute. Well no point in talking to much here are some pictures of my 2000 gls two door alero 3.4L v6.

(Mods include: Hood scoop, Black pin stripping(only on the sides), cool air intake(damn thing looks more like a short ram -.-), 6 1/2 pioneer front speakers, 6 by 9 pioneers in back, pioneer aftermarket radio, two 10inch 600w subs running on a 1200w amp with 12dp switch, big three upgrade, LeBra, and a kick ass little alien guy that sits by my steering wheel lol.)
Side note: I live in Wisconsin and this baby was mad in Michigan :)

Don't get me wrong I love my car but it isn't the best car in the world. My car is not stock because it has a new intake on it and a piggy back chip. I would like to lower it but I don't have the skill nor money for it haha. I know a few helpful things about car as far as maintenance goes(changing breaks and oil, ect) but I'm not a genius haha. the "piggy back chip" is a scam and you got had, unfortunately.

lowering is easy, one of the easiest things you really can do..

x2...you can't just throw a "chip" into an OBD2 compliant car...its all done through tuning the actual stock computer. all those "chips" do is mess with the signals that are sent to the computer to give it a false reading in attempt to make power, but it actually hurts your car more then it makes it faster.

Haha no I've heard they mess up stuff and I have been having issues with my rpms. It only happens when I'm going up hills. The rpms fluctuate up than back down. I vowed if I heard that again I was going to take it out. So buh bye chip lol. Anyways how would you go about lowering it guys? Any tips? Like I said not real car smart..yet.. Help a fellow alero guy out. :)
