So, lately my car has been making this noise in the front passenger tire area... It's starting to happen on the drivers side too... I'm thinking it's the bearings, but not quite sure... It started when I got new front struts/coils.
video of the noise. You can hear the groaning noises, and other clunking type noises... Don't pay attention to the higher pitched clicking... I believe that was the a/c fan.

I didn't hear much other then strut mount issues/ control arm bushings. I heard your exhaust but it sounded normal to me

I know my struts make a lot of noise... They are new, so I will probably take it back to the shop and have them check it... I'll have them check the control arm bushings too... I just wanted a second opinion to what I was thinking... cause I wasn't 100% sure what was causing it... Just that there were noises coming from the wheel area.

did they change your mounts at the same time? if not then thats prob the issue with that but honestly I can't hear the wheel bearing noise at all in the vid

I'll take it back in tomorrow and ask them, cause it's getting worse over time... So yeah..

I didn't hear anything that would indicate the wheel bearings. However, if the noise increases with speed and is a constant grinding/growling noise then that would be them.

It mainly seems to happen when I get to higher speeds (around 20+ MPH), and happens when I hit bumps. I get a slight groan when braking and the car is about stopped, right around the 5 MPH mark.. It's just a slight groan which you CAN hear in the video between 30-35 seconds.

Jack it up, grab the wheel and man handle it. Does it feel loose? If so the bearings are gone.

a bad bearing wouldnt make noises over bumps. you would hear it EVERYWHERE once you hit the right speed. and it would resemble riding on dry pavement with loud snow tires. if your getting noises while hitting bumps and appying brakes i would check your brake condition. also: "It started when I got new front struts/coils." doesnt mean the suspension was put in right.. or things could be loose. if you had a shop put that stuff in you should go right back there and have them check it out.

Bringing this back... Haven't been able to take it to a shop to get looked at, but the problem is still there... I was changing the oil in the car today, and had the car jacked up. I figured I would check, and the tires don't feel loose, so it's not the bearings. I think it might be strut mount related... I will probably take it back and get those replaced if they didn't do it, or would it be ok to just leave them the way they are?
