I would never put one on my Alero, but I can see why somebody would do it if they have a kid or two

i didnt put it on for looks. i put it on because i work on cars every day and that least thing i want is to pile dirty shit on my leather. my trunks full with a sub and FF gear. Plus the rack will give me a place to mount a VHF antenna for the fire department.
as for the rack. it was a $50 roof rack from walmart. Reese is the brand. i did modify it a little to make it fit better AND make it so my sunroof still has full mobility. causes some window noise going down the road but havnt noticed any major changes in fuel economy.

I dont think its to terribly bad. good idea though to not f*ck up your seats. thats understandable. and as C2 said, your fuel door needs alignment.

iv looked at it and cant figure wtf is wrong with it just short of removing the filler neck. the door its self is shutting completly onto the rubber bump stops lat time i checked. iv just been too lazy to fix it.
