I have some used H&R springs at home waiting to go on in Spring so I'm really torn between an H&R + AGX set up or these coilovers.

I wonder if they'll be adjustable.. If they are then it's a definite yes.

They are adjustable but the springs that come with the setup won't allow for it to be slammed. The test vehicle has had them running for a few weeks now and we are hoping to see the settled lowered height soon.

That's awesome news! I don't care to be slammed, but adjustability makes these more appealing. How have they been on the test vehicle handling wise?

The struts are non adjustable. I am not sure if it would be difficult to use the agx adjustable struts instead.

So the test car is currently set up with Excel-G struts? I read on a Grand Prix forum that the Excel-G are the same thing as the GR-2, but in black so it looks like OE Equipment. Dont quote me on that, thats just what I read.

Would using the Excel G strut as apposed to the AGX be better for a coilover application?

The problem is that if you "slam it" without properly shortening the dampers, you wind up riding around on your bumpstops all the time with little to no suspension travel.
That generally doesn't go over too well.

i am interested in the product up date. I actually am interested in the new product. WOT-tech seems like they sell some good products and they have good customer service.

Back on topic... I don't think the excel- g are the good ones to do it... I would do it with the agx... but the best would be a custom shorter shock absorber with a shorter rod.. well you can shorten the rod by let's say 2 inches and rethread it that way the shock won't be all the time bottoming out in the tube... but if the car is too low and the tube isn't shorter then you'LL still run on the bump stops

Anyway Coilover are by nature needed to be stiffer because of the extensive drop they offer... so the wheel won't rub all the time

Going off guiguilandys post agx's would be the best but they would significantly up the cost of the coilovers

ya but it would be worth it. an average good pair of coilovers is over 1000 bucks

back On Topic I am interested on hearing more about the coilovers. i want to hear an up date. i like guiguilandry's idea's a lot. x2

Very true.. I just hope camber adjustment is manageable with it completely lowed out
why would you want to slam your car on a static drop? if you want to go that low do it on air. and IIRC stoopidalero is still trying to sell his bags, they will cost you less than good coilovers.

I have considered bags but first off I hate wiring and secondly I I just prefer coilovers, I had bags on a 92 golf I traded my first honda for... Im not a fan had it for 2 weeks than traded it for a civic hatch with I sold for my current crx
