Alero Straight Muffler

Need to replace my rusted muffler. Current muffler is Walker 18557, I'm wondering if this will fit on the current resonator pipe?

it says it fits a 2.25 in piping. im pretty sure stock piping is 2.25. so yes it will fit

Thanks Doc. I ordered a different muffler, straight stainless dual tip, same inlet 2.25". Hopefully that fits well.

Typically how much does the shop charge to weld the muffler?

Anything that's a welding job usually runs about $50 to $75 here. Might be different in your part of the world ;)
