new oem fog housing is this normal?

bought this new factory gm fog housing but it has this wierd split in the middle inside the globe is this normal? cant get pic up just yet will post it asap though. it look like its suppose to be there but wierd ive never seen that before.

that thing in the center is the thing i mean not the sides thts just reflection from camera

if the bulb fits in there then im sure its no big deal. i cant remember atm if mine had that but i think they did. i havent had em for 2 years now though cause i hit a coon and it broke my fog mount, so i just put in leds for fogs. so im a bit rusty ;)

well its deffinantly not a crack the pictures make it look like it is in person u can tell it was made like that looks like its suppose to help spread the light out. but the old ones on my car im replacing dont have that?
