Just a quick introduction of myself and my car. I fell in love with this Alero the day I met it at Navarro Oldsmobile in Santa Fe NM. Did the PDI on it,installed the chrome rims, and saw it come back from the tint shop. The new owner loved it just as much as the mechanic (me) did. Over time the owner and I had become great friends, when she was ready to depart with this amazing car. I was her first phone call. And am I forever grateful for that call. It is a 1999 with 3.4L, automatic, 4wheel discs, as of right now all is stock except rims.

PDI? Not sure what that is, but nice, clean lookin' Alero you got there. Welcome!

PDI is the pre delivery inspection done by the techs in the shop before a new vehicle is made available to the public.

Yeah I actually got to unwrap this car at the dealership, so though I am the second owner, I'm the only mechanic it has ever known. Hey Doc, thank you!

I am currently waiting for my fresh air intake, cross drilled & slotted rotors, and brake pads to come in. I just finished resealing the lower intake manifold and decided since I was torn down that far may as well do a full tune up. New AC Delco Platinums, New Bosch wires, new Water pump, new idler pullies, a new tensioner w/pulley, and a new serp. belt. I also just got new headlight assemblies installed. Replaced the driving light switch. And I got to get it back into the garage to replace the defective cruise control switch on the steering wheel. Looking for all the best performance tips I can apply to my beloved little Alero, after all it shares stall space in the stable with my 1970 440-6pack Plymouth Road Runner, and my 1981 Corvette!

go advanced, scroll down, manage attachments. it opens a little new window. upload pics. then we can all see! and if your looking for some good mod ideas, scroll though the how-to section. there's a ton of wisdom there.
