I hope that guy can manufacturer those soon i would gladly pay up to $200 for 4 of them as my garage is only 7' feet high those stand would be perfect & easy to use

Lift car by base to place essentially a stationary jackable wheel dolly (lift stand).
Then jack the lift stand then when done pull pins to release lift stand then jack car
by base up so to remove the lift stand.

I can use two jacks to do what they were doing.

If by some chance you need the full length of the car say for exhaust replacement, you should be in a shop any ways

they would have been handy when dropping the transmission out of my 65' thunderbird...sometimes you need a little more clearance than what you can get from the jackstands

I would fit under the car easy without jacking up the stands
You could also use only two of them for the front when doing the oil change

As for using two jacks well that would be dangerous & a jack is meant to jack/lift only never meant to hold the car up while you work on the car that is not safe even with an hydraulic jack always rest the car on stand or something solid + you can also put a wheel under the car to add little bit more protection (i always do that when removing a wheel)

there is a lip that it would have to roll over...it is cupped around the tire on the top...these really wouldn't be that difficult to make...you would need some 3 inch angle iron, some 3 or 4 inch pipe, some expanded metal or whatever you want to use for the top, and a nice sturdy pin such as a pto pin for a tractor, after a little time with a welder you have some for cheaper than you could buy them
