ASS Donations are needed

Hey everybody!!

Well the donation letters to sponsors were put in the mailbox today at 4:10am EST, and two letters were hand delivered later in the morning.

With this said, We are still looking for donations from members for stuff to give away at the show.

Past ASS goers know, but for first timers and people that cannot make it, car related items are best. Alero related items work well too, but we would be looking for more "body" related items instead of "engine" items this way it doesn't matter if a LA1, LD9, or a L61 guy/gal gets the prize.

Is bringing anything required? No, but think about it, there will be door prizes, and what's a few bucks for something small. Not asking you to spend $100 on something either. Gift cards are OK, just be sure that the cards are for a store that is national. I was going to donate a Pep Boys gift card last year, reseached it, and found out that they are not in a large section of the midwest. Plan ahead in that department

We will be having dinner Friday night at Hooters in Lansing. Anyways a good time. The girls will come out and pose with the cars after dinner too. One could hope for a quick drenching downpour at that time :scpimp: I will be setting that up in a few weeks. They only plan a month out so it's too early to call now.

I have a little surprise.....its a body mod....needs some TLC but it will be free so no complaints :lol: Never got around to putting it on/working on it and i kind of lost interest in it so i'll donate it.

I may be able to bring a gift card for something. I'm really squeezed after the body work though so it's still a miracle if I can make it to ASS with a dime in my pocket. I have $300 in the budget for ASS right now, but that just covers gas and hotel. I'm working on getting another $250-$300 for spending cash, but the deadline is fast approaching and I'm still banking on Manwhore to buy my Macbook so I can get the car from the shop.

I do have a bunch of air fresheners lying around though lol

It looks brand new. It was brand new until I hung it in my garage when we moved here 8 months ago. It's a simple flag, white with a red logo on it and underneath the logo it says Oldsmobile. The logo and text are red.

I also, have a showroom banner that's kind of beat up from 1993 that is something like 10 feet long.


I will post a pic of each on photobucket tomorrow. PM me to remind me if you don't see em here by the end of the day tomorrow.
