Just wondering if I could ask one of you photoshop experts for a favor?

->Would it be possible for someone to shop Koruptid's headlights onto my car? ( or atleast shop my headlights to look like koruptid's )

I'm clearing my corners for the up-coming Falls meet, but wifey and I are undecided on what should be done: standard cleared corners, or painted bezel

I love the way koruptid's headlights look, but wifey thinks it would be too much black.

Thanks for the help in advance.

That 1st pic helps alot, koruptid..... 1) are those stock bulbs you got in there, and do they light up well with the bezel painted?

2) did you use a gloss paint ? what do you suggest I use?

thanks man....

I got 1 headlight already cleared with the bezel painted black. I believe it's the driver's side. If you want it PM me and we'll discuse the details.

You should do the painted bezel, it looks good on a black car and with the corner cleared. Jturkey has it on his car but I don't know if he has any pics posted.

Yeah, it would look good on your car dave. I thought about doing it to mine, but then I realized the fact that my car is blue....

clears would look good without being painted too, especially if you add anything else chrome, like fender trim(its under $100), the chrome door protector stuff(i got it around my hood and on my ventshades too), or nice shiney rims. I chrome taped my tails too, but alot of people are doing them in black and they look pretty sweet. As far as a blue car, clear your corners and get superwhite bulbs, they look blue when not lit up, and nice and white when on!

I was thinking about doing that, considering my theme for my car is red and black, but I don't know how good it will look when I get a CF hood. And I already cleared my corners, I'm not sure I want to take it all apart again...

REV i think the black painted bezels would look good with cf, the color on them is light enough to blend with the grey, it would look hot. Ur car is gonna be sweet with some CF!!

Black painted bezels look and flow good on a black car, so I'd say just go for it YoungBlood. Although, honestly I'll admit that sometimes I wish mine weren't painted.

Well, some take the time to mask off the chrome behind the turn signals and parking lights, whereas I didn't....that might be what he was talking about.....

AleroSport, try to find the closest blue you can find to the blue that the rest of the car is painted in...I think that if you did your lights like mine with blue, it would look sweet as hell. http://www.grandamgt.com/forum/images/smilies/molson.gif

hmmm, seriously considering this, but taking apart the assembly is such a pita, I don't know if I am gonna.
Oh, and do you guys think it would look good on my car to tint the tails??

Youngblood77
09-19-2004, 06:41 PM
Rev, I'd say that if you did one, then do the other aswell. The clears look great, but if you tint the rears, the brightness of the cleared headlights might look out of place. It's your car man, just do what you think will look good, and what YOU will enjoy....That's the bottom line: make your car so YOU enjoy it.

lol I wouldn't give the idea if I wouldn't enjoy it...
Just wanting oppinions, and if I did tint the rears and paint my bezel, should I paint my grille black or leave it chrome, wouldn't a chrome grille with all this red and black look out of place? Or would it match the machined lip on my wheels and the trim around the windows?

i got a black grill on mine and it looks good but before i had the kit i had the painted bezel with chrome mesh and it looked good too....i prefer the black
