I was wondering where people got the mesh for the front bumper grill type areas. I noticed the www.customcargrills.com (http://www.customcargrills.com) carries the mesh, precut for our cars, but I havent really seen anyone else carrying it.

Is buying the pieces precut worth it? Does anyone else carry something similar?

I had mesh on before but it was ripped off when I hit the raccoon. I used a roll of chicken wire from Home Depot. Used some cardboard to just out templates then cut the chicken wire mesh to the same size. then covered the wire in clearcoat and just bent the pieces to hold it in place.

ok... so it seems the general consensus is to get off my fat lazy ass and do the work on this one myself. :D

Thanks folks.

Yeah, just use the gutter guard crap from Lowes. It stops birds really well, trust me on that one.

I got the grill from customcargrills and I like it. May not be as strong as the chicken wire but looks better IMO.

The stuff from customcargrills and the guttergaurd from home depot is the exact same material. I spent $3 to do my car versus $40.

cheep mods is right  i made my own cai with a metal hosing, a performance air filter, and a chrome filter cover, and then i darkened my tailights by putting some window tint over them(the cheap stuff you do yourself) had my dad use the same stuff to put on my window(he is a mechanic and knows what he's doing), did the same with my headlights, used chicken wire for the grill, im in the process of developing a ram air system using some oval shaped exhaust tips fit in the spot of the foglights(move those to the middle) and then running a hosing togetherinto one tube then into the filter and intake..... all of it so far has costed me like less than 150 dollars..... and trust me all of it is well worth it :smokin:
