i have a 2000 and ive searched the how-to's but cant seem to find one for my year i see a 01-04 one. Anyways on friday i plan on buying

now is all this needed ? && how do i go about the installation now. Any help would be appreciated.

ahh thanks for that link. was about to spend $83 for all that lol. Have people here bought from that site and will the accessories they include fit into my alero properly like the ones i was going to get from amazon ?

Im about to order my amp and Head unit from this website myself i know they offer free shipping aswell but you also select the make and year of your car so that they can match the needed accessories i happen to have the same car so it matched already.

alright thanks ill be ordering it tomorrow. do you have any quick instructions on a head unit install ? or a link to a thread on this site with directions

Read the instructions... thats about all you need to know...
Take your factory out.
Wire harnesses, Plug harness and antenna in
install head unit and dash kit.
simple enough...
or do you know how to dissemble the dash part of the radio?
if so. Pull the trim around the factory headunit.. its just clipped in.

yea i know how to take that out ive (unfortunately) painted my interior before. now looking for a vinyl to wrap it or just have it professionally painted. thanks for the instructions though it seems easy enough

Alero HU was the first i did.. and by far the easiest! Good luck... replace your 6x9s though... mine blew within the first week of a new HU

both the 6x9s and the 4x6 have already been replaced so i should be good there lol.
