Bad vibration

Ive noticed when i park my car on a hill it rattles and vibrates real bad and to where you can here the body of the car vibrating and if i put on the ebrake it get about three times as worse can anyone explain whats causing it?

ld9 (2.4)? those shake real bad period. i had one that did the same... im sure i had a bad engine mount but never replaced it. if you sit on a good hill in with your foot on the brake it vibs right? shift into neutral and its practically gone (or makes a big improvement) right?

yes thats exactly what it does but it does it only when in park if i put it in any gear with my foot on the brake the vibration stops instantly

sounds like you could have a bad engine mount.
